Hiring Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kit List Camping. We hope you enjoy our camping equipment. Please take time to read the following Terms and Conditions to ensure you get the best from our equipment and protect your security deposit.

  • A returnable Security Deposit is required when hiring equipment from Kit List Camping. The Security Deposit amount will be confirmed as part of our quotation and at time of booking.

  • A Booking Deposit (normally 30% of the hire fees) is required to confirm booking and to arrange delivery slot. Full payment, including Security Deposit, is required 2 weeks before the agreed delivery date. Cancellations with less than 2 weeks notice before delivery date will result in full loss of payment. Cancellations prior to 2 weeks before delivery date will result in loss of Booking Deposit only.

  • All tent and camping equipment will be checked upon return and the cost to repair any damage incurred will be deducted from the Security Deposit. Please note - checks may take up to two weeks in busy periods.

  • Pets are allowed but the kit needs to be cleaned before return or collection. Any heavy soiling may result in a charge for cleaning being deducted from the Security Deposit.

  • Some of our equipment is flammable so we operate a strict No Smoking policy in our tents. All smoking must be done outside and well away from the tent. Any smoke damage will result in loss of Security Deposit.

  • Late returns or failed collections due to the hirer not being present will result in additional hire fees being deducted from the Security Deposit.

  • Kit List Camping do not offer travel insurance

  • Kit List Camping is not responsible for any loss or injury sustained during your holiday, no matter how it was caused. If our tents and equipment are used responsibly this should not occur.
